On Saturday, June 11, 2016, my husband Jaime and I attended a ghost tour at the Historic Ott
Hotel in Liberty, TX. Liberty is one of the earliest cities in Texas, established in 1831,
and the Ott Hotel was established in 1928.
It was our first time ghost-hunting;certainly rookies. We did capture some images that seem pretty weird, though.
This
image was taken in the laundry/vending machine room in the dark. There
is obviously an eye in the top right-center of the mirror, and it could
well be mine. For it to be mine, though, I would have had to have tilted
my head sideways close to my shoulder, since the eye appears to be at a
90 degree angle. When I zoom in, it appears there is a cascade of three
or four eyes. While it can certainly be camera/lighting trickery, I
can't find an explanation for the big red T that appears in the mirror.

Below are other images taken of this mirror, and I just can't find the reason for the red T.
At the beginning of the tour, the hotel owners showed various photos
taken by guests over the years. A couple of those photos had red letters
or words appearing in the air, or on a person's face. I didn't think
much of it at the time, feeling it was too cheesy, but now I wonder.
Here
is a bit of background on the second group of photos below. We were on
the front porch, about to leave, when a couple of people came outside
and started talking excitedly. One lady showed us the image of a little
black creature face she had captured on her phone in the one the rooms
upstairs, and another mentioned a lady had just gotten clawed up in the
same room. The image of the creature she showed us is much more definite
than anything we captured. We headed back inside and went upstairs to
the room this had happened in. After that room cleared out, we went
inside and took some pictures. We were told to turn the lights off,
since that was when things would get freaky. We turned the lights off
and took several pictures of various parts of the room and in the mirror
(the flash on my phone makes it bright enough to see). We didn't
capture anything in the pictures of other parts of the room, however, we
did get a weird image in the mirror in one photo. In the first picture
below, when I zoom in closely, I see an eye on each side of the greenish
light that's slightly above the boy's back. I see the whites, irises,
and pupils. The second picture below is the same image zoomed in and
brightened a bit.

Below are the pictures leading up to the one above. I don't see anything
really interesting in them. other than I can see a green light
appearing in different places in the photo, until I finally see it in
the first one above, appearing around my knees, slightly above the boy's
back.

These could certainly all be tricks of the light, I'll admit, but I still wonder, given what happened a few minutes before.
Below
is another one taken in the room next door a few minutes later, and is
likely an instance of pareidolia, but I thought I would include it.
